The Russian government plans to allocate approximately $6 billion annually in state financial and export credits to other countries between 2027 and 2029.
According to the draft three-year federal budget, these external financial allocations will amount to 524.4 billion rubles in 2027, 552 billion rubles in 2028, and 576 billion rubles in 2029. The document's explanatory note emphasizes that these funds are crucial for completing ongoing international projects, honoring Russia's intergovernmental commitments, and providing strategic financial backing for domestic industrial exports in highly competitive sectors.
The federal budget draft, officially submitted to the State Duma on September 30, projects 2027 state revenues at 43.3 trillion rubles and total expenditures at 48.7 trillion rubles. The resulting budget deficit is projected to reach 5.4 trillion rubles (2.2% of GDP), highlighting a significant increase in state spending compared to previous three-year economic forecasts.
